Consultant Energy

As an Energy Consultant with the organization, you will guide, both nationally and internationally, all kinds of parties from the energy sector to reach agreements in the form of standards. For these parties, you guide existing and form new committees with all relevant stakeholders. You guide the process by which all these parties reach supported agreements. The energy sector is facing a major transition to meet climate goals; new standards are key to this. You will be responsible for talking to the market and government to retrieve needs and opportunities, and translating this into products and services of the organization. You quickly familiarize yourself in and with relevant networks, and you are well aware of relevant developments and interests in the energy transition.

You are secretary of standards committees in the Netherlands, Europe and internationally. You participate in European and national research, connecting innovation with standardization, for example, or figuring out how standards and legislation affect each other.

What is required?

● HBO or WO working and thinking level

● 5-10 years of relevant work experience (with stakeholder or project management, or for example as a liaison, process facilitator or similar role)

● Analytical skills: be able to distinguish main and secondary issues

● Excellent command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written

● Sense of political relationships and ability to deal with opposing interests
